Valentine’s Day WEEK is upon us!
No doubt many of us have already done the obligatory Valentine’s craft with the kids, AND if you’re really good, you’ve finished putting together all those little cards for your kids’ class. So what now?
In honor of our debut 50-pack Pretzel Stix at Sam’s Club (you can also find them at Walmart), we’ve got two super cool Valentine’s Week activities made just for kids!
This year, “You’re in Love, Charlie Brown” (1967) turns 50 years old! Remember the adorable one when Charlie Brown works up the courage to talk to the Little Red-Haired Girl? You can stream a bunch of the Charlie Brown Valentine videos on YouTube.com and Amazon.com, or you can find the books just about anywhere. Then introduce the classic soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi, played by the Piano Guys here. The kids will be so jazzed up by the end of this performance, they’ll be making their own concerts for the rest of the afternoon!
Here’s another awesome one: “All You Need is Love” (by the Beatles, of course) turns 50 this year. Every kid needs to know about this iconic band. This is the perfect week to make the introduction. You can find it here. Be sure to download the lyrics, so the kids can sing along. “…Love, love, love…” is super easy for all age groups to follow. And just in case you already read our previous blog about “bringing back the crudite” (yes, Fresh Kids party food for kids!), you might also make some super simple strawberry heart lollipops with Fresh Kids Pretzel Stix and play “Strawberry Fields Forever” (which is also on “The Beatles: 1967-1970” album)!
So here’s to Valentine’s Day Week, from all of us at Fresh Kids. We believe in a harmonious world, where snacks are clean, simple, non-artificial, and available for all our children. Fresh Kids believes HEALTHY is the new COOL!
You can find Fresh Kids 50-pack Pretzel Stix at Sam’s Club locations. Our Pretzel Stix are sized according to one serving of whole grain by MyPlate. Never artificial, always non-GMO, and made with love in a nut-free facility. Happy Valentine’s Day!
